How we approach stage lighting design and hire across the UAE
Lighting at T-AV is programmed in Vectorworks and visualised in Depence before the rig touches the venue. By the time the moving heads land, the cue stack is 80% of the way there.
We pre-vis to a level where the on-site plot run is a refinement, not a rehearsal. Timecode locked to the show, MA3 console synced to the audio playback, redundant data paths to every fixture.
When the artist changes the running order at line check, the show file already accommodates it.

How much does stage lighting hire cost in Dubai?
It scales with the rig and the show — a wedding wash is a different build to a festival main stage. We quote per event from the design, not off a per-fixture price list. Tell us the venue and the look you're after and a costed plot comes back.
Do you design and program the lighting, or just supply fixtures?
Both — and the design is the point. Our lighting designers and grandMA3 programmers pre-visualise the whole show in L8 and Depence before the rig lands, so on-site is refinement, not a first rehearsal. You can dry-hire fixtures elsewhere; here the cues come programmed to the show.
What kind of events do you light?
Concerts and festivals, conferences and corporate, weddings and private events, architectural and cultural shows across the UAE. Moving heads, wash, beam and pixel — matched to the room, not a one-size rig.
Can the lighting be timed to music or video?
Yes. Cues are timecoded against the show and the MA3 console syncs to audio playback, with redundant data paths to every fixture — so when the running order changes at line check, the show file already handles it.
How far in advance do you need the brief?
The sooner the better for big builds. Once the venue, date and creative direction are set, we can pre-vis properly instead of plotting live.
